The Problem: Requested site attendance due to a damaged manhole cover in the driveway causing concern for tenant when entering and leaving their property.

The Course of Action: Engineers to remove faulty manhole frame and cover and replace with new vehicular compliant unit.

Work Undertaken: Engineers attended site to excavate and remove defective manhole cover. On inspection, engineers replaced the frame and cover due to the age of the original unit. The new frame was bedded on a concrete base and levelled to match the existing area. Once the concrete cured, engineers cleaned out the frame and seated the manhole cover, ensuring the correct fit. All plant, materials and waste were removed from the site and the work area was left clean and safe.

The Outcome: Client can now access driveway with peace of mind knowing the manhole is now secure and structurally sound.
